Only 12 years young, this unit needed some face lifting, updating and new lighting.
The dark brown stained Kitchen cabinets and tile backsplash felt too dominating, adding too much contrast in this space with all of the natural light. The polished darker tile countertops, including a 12’ long Island, added too much glare.
We re-faced the dark doors and drawer fronts with painted light taupe wood, which made an immediate improvement for this Kitchen and adjacent Living area. New pendants and undercabinet LED lighting further enhanced the space.
We chose a matte finish for the countertops and backsplash, in Cambria quartz Torquay, for a timeless marble look. The backsplash is all one piece of quartz, for easy maintenance and no grout! A Kohler Prolific single-bowl sink includes many accessories for prep. Elkay chef-style faucet and Insinkerator filtered hot/cold faucet increased the prep functions for this Kitchen.
